At ALETRIS, we believe that health is more than the absence of disease. Our desire to practice integrative medicine comes from an understanding that a multi-disciplinary approach to medicine provides the maximum therapeutic benefit for the patient. It means that we are more than just individuals renting space under one roof, and we engage in constant dialogue focused on continuing education and improving our clinical excellence.

It means that each provider is required participate in weekly grand rounds, to study and learn from one another. Five minds, for example, working towards providing solutions far exceeds the treatment abilities of just one practitioner. OUR NAME

Our name comes from the latin Aletris farinosa , the plant commonly called Stargrass or True Unicorn. Aletris farinosa is a white lily that has been used for centuries by Native American healers as a general female tonic – for conditions such as uterine fibroids, ovarian complaints and infertility. Aletris farinosa is indigenous to the eastern United States , and is listed by some states as endangered.
